Campaign 2.0: MySpace hosts “primary” Jan 1-2/08

myspace barackIn case you missed this one, MediaPost reported last week reported that MySpace will ace out Iowa and New Hampshire primaries with their own “primary “–more likely an unscientific popularity stunt than a true voting poll–weeks in advance. Of the 65 million monthly US Visitors of MySpace (would be 11th largest in world if it were a country), 85% are legal voting age; anywhere from 1/3 to half are more likely than general population to research politics and consumer their messages online. The graph to the left shows Barak winning by friending. 🙂
